Kiley, 83, formerly of New Gloucester, ME died Tuesday morning, October 9, 2001 at the Newton Center in Sanford, ME.Mrs. Kiley was born on February 6, 1918 in New Gloucester, ME. She was the daughter of George and Dora Loring. It was there she was raised and attended schools.Mrs. Kiley spent most of her life at home raising her nine children. Although her and her family spent most of their time in New Gloucester, they later lived in various areas of southern Maine.When Mrs. Kiley found time she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, baking apple pie, or going to a fun game of beano. She also enjoyed traveling and caring for her houseplants.Her husband William predeceased her in 1991.Surviving are four sons, William of New Gloucester, George of Waterboro, Robert of Sanford, Ernest Brownfield; five daughters, Josephine Lashua of Florida, Estelle Mooney of New Gloucester, Mary Reed of Limerick, Patricia Hussey of Sanford and Betty Graffam of Shapleigh. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great-grandchild.A period of visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday October 12, 2001 at the Heald Funeral Home, 580 Main St. Springvale; where a funeral service will be held following visitation. Burial will be in New Gloucester, ME.
