Alan B. Peterson, 77, of Acton, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.
Alan was born on July 10, 1949, in Lynn, Massachusetts, to Roy and Ida (Riley) Peterson. He dedicated many years of his career to the sheet metal trade as a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 17 in Boston.
Alan shared 56 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Linda (Parolski) Peterson. They raised three children who Al considered his finest accomplishments. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and many memories.
In his free time, Alan enjoyed fishing, golfing, collecting antiques, and sports cards. These hobbies brought him years of enjoyment and reflected his many interests.
Alan will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda; his children, Justin Peterson and his wife Krista of Millis, Massachusetts, Toby Peterson of Bellingham, Massachusetts, and Michelle Peterson of Sedona, Arizona; seven grandchildren and all those who knew and loved him.
At the family’s request, services will be private.
