Gilpatrick, 89, longtime resident of Limerick, Maine died March 8, 2003 at her daughter's residence in Hiram, Maine.She was born in Springvale, Maine on January 3, 1914 the daughter of William and Lula (Stone) Picken and attended Sanford schools. Ada was a Girl Scout in the Sanford area and was a Girl Scout Leader in Limerick for many years. She was also a 4-H leader in Limerick for many years.Mrs. Gilpatrick worked for General Electric in Limerick, Tennford Weaving in Sanford and Jagger Mill. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Limerick.She is survived by a son Stephen Gilpatrick of Sanford; daughters Eleanor O'Meara of Waterboro, Phyllis Gilpatrick of Limerick, Maine, Mary Craig of North Berwick, Maine and Dorothy Watson of Hiram, Maine; sisters Shirley Payeur of Sanford, Phyllis Wright of Lebanon, Maine, Albertine Littlefield of North Carolina and Charlotte Stevens of Sanford, Maine; 18 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at The First Baptist Church of Limerick.
