Paul E. Sicotte, of Sanford, Maine, passed away on April 28, 2026. He was born on June 29, 1947, in Salem, Massachusetts, the son of Edmond and Anita Sicotte.

Paul enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved listening to country music, especially the songs of Johnny Cash, working on puzzles, watching classic western movies, and spending time ice fishing.

He was a proud participant in Special Olympics, where he enjoyed boating, hiking, and snowshoeing. Paul was also actively involved with LifeWorks and Waypoint in Springvale, where he formed many meaningful friendships and was a valued member of the community.

Paul was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Lucille Cryan.

He held a special place in his heart for his sister and guardian, Jeanne Brusso, whose love and devoted care meant the world to him. He also shared a close bond with a niece who was like a mother to him throughout his life.

He is survived by his sisters, Carol Newton and her husband, Bob, of Dracut, Massachusetts; Florence R. Jones and her husband, James, of Sanford; and Jeanne Brusso of Sanford, along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Salem, Massachusetts, at a later date.
