Eleanor and her sisters looked forward to the weekend dances they would all attend during the 60’s and 70’s, which introduced her to Clarence Mitchell, a dance partner who became her husband for 49 Years.
Eleanor and Clarence enjoyed years together traveling with family and friends on cruise ships and trips around the country.

You are one of the best things that ever happened to me. I will miss you so much. Today was a difficult one for me as Thursdays were one of our days together. I think we talked about every topic under the sun . We laughed together and cried together. We had a lot in common….our deep love for our families, missing our husbands and a regard for ALL Gods children no matter their race or creed. . You taught me so much and brought me back to my faith and I will always be grateful for you!
