Lauriane P. Valley

Lauriane Poulin Valley , 88, of Sanford , Maine , born on October 31, 1923, died at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on Sunday, November 27, 2011. Her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Dan Stanley were present at her bedside. Lauriane was predeceased by her husband, Maurice M. Valley in 1999 and her son, James M. Valley in 2008. Surviving beside her daughter and her husband are four grandchildren, Kelly, Scott, Sherri and James; four great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Jakob, Samantha and Jordan; three sisters, Rosa Twele, Rena Fortin and her husband Marcel, Jeannette Potvin, and a brother, Leo Poulin and his wife Mary Carol; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 1st at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church , located at 66 North Avenue in Sanford . At Lauriane's request there will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford , Maine 04073 .
