Arlene F. Tuttle, 84, of Springvale, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born on October 31, a daughter of Benjamin and Flora (Burnham) Moulton in Sanford where she grew up and was a lifelong resident of the area.In 1950 she married Maurice Tuttle and together they had seven children. Arlene was a homemaker for her family and as they grew she went to work at Sprague Electric in Sanford and remained there for seventeen years until she retired.She was fun loving and sassy, and had a great sense of humor but was also no nonsense in that she would "tell it like it was". She loved animals, and treated pets like her babies and grandbabies. She also liked all kinds of flowers, especially iris and gladiolus.When she was young, she liked to go dancing and play cards with family and friends.Above all, Arlene was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. She is predeceased by her parents, and her husband of 59 years, Maurice Tuttle, and a son Maurice Tuttle, Jr. Survivors include, a brother Frank Moulton, and sisters Nancy Paradis,Joyce Marino, Carol Behen, Sandy Lang, Pauline Church, a brother, Reginald Savageau, and sister, Grace Savageau, her children, Jane Gosselin and her husband Gerard, Robert Tuttle and his wife Lora, Rose Roberts and her husband Bruce, Reginald Tuttle and his wife Tammy, Theresa Tuttle and her fiance Rob, and Betty Tuttle, grandchildren, Gerard Jr., Jessica, Heather, Robert Jr., Amanda, Jeffrey, Reginald Jr., Kaitlin, Michael, Bradley, Samantha, Richard, Benjamin, Edward, and Andy, and many adoring great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Sanford. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 12, at 11:00 A.M. at Carll Heald & Black Funeral Home, Springvale. Burial will be at Limington Village Cemetery in Limington at a later date.
