Daniel G. Ruggiero

Dan Ruggiero, 36, died unexpectedly November 4, 2013 at his home in Sanford.He was born February 18, 1977 in Springfield, Massachusetts, was raised in Dunbarton, New Hampshire and attended schools there.Dan was a happy guy and was rarely seen without a big grin on his face or a baseball cap on his head. He enjoyed watching the Patriots and hanging out with his friends. He loved animals and spent time working at a veterinary hospital. He was always up for a game of Frisbee Golf and travel was something that brought him a lot of joy.Most of all he loved his family; his wife Erin Walker and their daughter Taylor Ruggiero. He was always happiest when spending time with Taylor. He was a proud dad watching her play soccer or completely content to be snuggled on the couch watching TV with her. Time spent with her was precious.He is survived by his wife Erin, his daughter Taylor, his parents and brother, several nieces and one nephew and his grandfather Pops.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, where a memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM. A luncheon will follow at the Heald Family Center, 574 Main Street, Springvale.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Animal Welfare Society, Inc., P. O.
