My sincere sympathy to Dorothy’s family for their loss. Dorothy was my classmate at Cathedral Grammar School, and also at Cathedral High School where we both graduated in 1948. She was a wonderful person with a quiet, kind manner. I remember that her family was very good to me at the death of my mother, when I was eight years old and in school with Dorothy. Our high school friends get together for lunch regularly, so I learned that she was not feeling well. Please be assured that you and Dorothy are in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked at the Travelers for many years with Dotty. She was such a nice person. Her job as a policy rater required her to have good math and analytical qualifications – and she certainly had those. I know that I speak for all that worked with her that she was such a dear person.
