I was so saddened to hear of Rita’s passing. My thoughts are with you.I walked by her home while walking my dogs. She would open her door and invite us in to visit. Rita filled me with happiness. She would talk and smile. Her eyes were sparkling and filled with joy. I never heard her say a negative word. She was an inspiration for me. I still miss seeing her there in the doorway of her home.Much sympathy,Dorothy, “Gilley” and “Cliffy”

It was such a joy to know your mom. Full of sparkle, smiles, a quick wit and a positive attitude! She was such a gift to my mom, Rita helped mom settle in at Avita, they spent many days in each others company and truly enjoyed being together, for that, I am eternally grateful. I will miss seeing her there, in her electric pink sweater, but know that she is now at peace, and with your dad. May you find comfort in knowing many people treasured having her in their lives, and that part of her will live on in our memories.

Dear Michael & Jane,I am very sorry to learn of your loss. I have fond memories of your mother when we were co-workers at Owen Moore. She was lots of fun, very sweet, and always so very kind and generous to me. A very special lady … Sending caring thoughts and heartfelt sympathy your way. Janet
