Vivien Curry Lorello
PORTLAND - Vivien Curry Lorello, died August 29, 2011 after a brief illness at the age of 82 with her family by her side. Vivien was born in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of Grace Vivian Stearns and Otis Levi Curry. Vivien Grew up on Munjoy Hill and was educated in local schools. Vivien worked for New England Telephone Company from 1947 until her marriage to Daniel D. Lorello in 1952. She enjoyed being with her family, knitting, reading history, going to the beach, keeping abreast of current events, cooking and dining out. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Daniel D. Lorello, and her sons Daniel D. Lorello and his wife Rosemary of North Greenbush, New York; Thomas F. Lorello and his wife, Paula of Gray, Maine; Stephen Lorello and his wife, Janice of Wells, Maine. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Stephen John Lorello, Andrew Lorello, Sarah Bass, Matthew Lorello, Maria Doubrava and Angela Lorello and her four great-grandsons, Logan and Dominic Lorello and Aidric and Liem Bass. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday September 1, 2011 at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland. Prayers will be recited 8:15 a.m. Friday at the Funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress Street, Portland, Maine.
