While our experience isn't fully over, I'll say that when we first arrived brokenhearted and confused the Director made us feel much better about what's always a sad experience.
I have a blended family, so writing an obituary was going to be a daunting experience.
Again, that was handled well and with grace. For such a sad endeavor, I'd recommend this place.
Adam and the staff of Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral home were very professional, caring and respectful. My husband was treated with dignity and compassion. Adam thoroughly explained all the details of the entire process to me and helped my daughter and I write a beautiful obituary. Adam made sure to have someone from his staff check on me to see if I was ok and if there was anything they could do to help me through the grieving process.
My husband’s urn was delivered to me at my home which I really appreciated.

Alissa’s professionalism, knowledge and supportive manner calmed my family when we felt we were in the middle of an emotional storm.

Dealing with the tragedy and pain and loss of a loved one is truly beyond challenging. However and rather unbelievably Adam Walker and his extraordinary staff at Tully-Walker somehow understood and embraced the truth that the depth of one’s grief is directly proportional to the boundless depth of one’s love for that loved one.
That understanding was palpable throughout our memorial service and evident at every stage both before and after that service.

I have planned funerals for a handful of family members and am familiar with the process. I was completely blown away by the attention to detail and services provided by Adam and the team at Conroy Tully Walker. They went above and beyond to personalize the services, take care of every detail that was important, not only to me, but to each family member, and even helped with the daunting paperwork that one hates to deal with upon the death of a loved one.
I had met with Adam a few years ago to prepare funeral arrangements for myself and my husband and was extremely pleased with his warmth and concern that put me at ease for the future care that I would receive. The time came last Thursday when I would need his help in preparing for my husband’s services. The care and respect received from Adam and his staff was beyond reproach and very caring.
I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the Staff of Conroy- Tully Walker. It was a very rewarding experience during this time of sorrow. From the moment I encountered the staff in organizing the arrangements, to the carrying out of the funeral, to the burial, it was with professionalism. All staff showed compassion, dedication, and true concern for my feelings.
My dealings were primarily with Melody Pereira for doing the planning, with Alissa Dodds for preparing the prayer service, the mass and burial, with Julie Ann Johnson for her follow up work, and Elizabeth for keeping in touch with her follow up texts.
Finally, I want to thank those who worked preparing Mary Jean, my wife. She looked beautiful, just the way she was before this terrible illness took her away.
The owner, Adam, went above and beyond for my family and I. We had issues with another funeral home that was mistreating my family and our loved one, so he went and transferred her here. He was very welcoming and comforting and even brought his dog to comfort us as well. They really did an amazing job. I recommend this place if you want your loved one taken care of respectfully and to have an easy process during the mourning period.

Sometimes people are faced with the difficult realities life throws at you, a life lost too soon. When my wife and I lost our son last year, Conroy-Tully Walker helped our family through THE darkest time of our lives. They were real, they were kind and they were compassionate. My family and I cannot say enough about the wonderful job the entire staff did when my husband Jack passed away suddenly!!! They were all SOO compassionate and caring and have continued to offer support and help in any way necessary!! We asked Adam to help us make his funeral a true celebration of his life and ours and sure enough he did that and more!! Jack was an avid golfer, Adam suggested that we bring his clubs in and much to our surprise he displayed them in such a way that it brought smiles to all of us with friends still commenting!!Caitlin put a fabulous video together that we will enjoy forever!!

This facility was everything I hoped for, actually my experience w/Black Funeral exceeded any expectations I had! The staff went above and beyond with any questions and concerns I had. The staff is wonderful, cost is more than reasonable. Make sure you compare others first. Make sure you check this place out before making your decision!!! There are certain funeral homes (one, that I know of in South Berwick which shall remain nameless) that offer prepaying of services and then try to change the contract with the survivors; charging more than the contracted amount.
These folks are dedicated to making this difficult time much easier. They were all very caring and attentive to every detail. My family is extremely grateful to the ENTIRE staff.

The staff was beyond accommodating to me and my family in a difficult time. They walked me through each step of the process. The night my mom passed and they came to the nursing home to get her, the driver couldn’t have been any more considerate of us and even more towards the handling of my mother.
