These are great people. They are very attentive to their customers.

“
The staff is wonderful, cost is more than reasonable. Make sure you compare others first. Make sure you check this place out before making your decision!!! There are certain funeral homes (one, that I know of in South Berwick which shall remain nameless) that offer prepaying of services and then try to change the contract with the survivors; charging more than the contracted amount.

“

Adam R. Walker is my nephew and has many years in the Funeral Business managing and working all levels of the business. I am very proud of him because he is very genuine, sensitive, and wants to do what is needed to comfort each family. He does not designate parts of the business to other employees. He is completely envolved with meeting families, sale represenatives on a personal level, and always doing as much personal work as possible. I believe you will enjoy meeting Adam R. Walker stop in just to meet him .

The Conroy-Tully Walker team did an incredible job guiding us through the arrangements process. Alissa demonstrated her deep knowledge and professionalism every step of the way in the selection of services and she did this with patience and kindness. Caitlyn Walker wrote a beautiful tribute and performed a flawless Memorial service. Adam and Caitlyn Walker made sure the visiting hours, celebration of life and graveside Military Honors, all held on the same day were executed perfectly. My mother, sister and I could not have been more satisfied with our choice. Thank you for making a difficult time easier.

I was completely blown away by the attention to detail and services provided by Adam and the team at Conroy Tully Walker. They went above and beyond to personalize the services, take care of every detail that was important, not only to me, but to each family member, and even helped with the daunting paperwork that one hates to deal with upon the death of a loved one.

During the most difficult time in my life, Black Funeral Homes went above and beyond in helping me give my Husband the funeral he wanted, a green burial. It means so much to me knowing my loved one was in such good hands and gave my husband the respect and dignity he deserved. Even following up to make sure I was doing alright. Good people. So professional.

“
This facility was everything I hoped for, actually my experience w/Black Funeral exceeded any expectations I had! The staff went above and beyond with any questions and concerns I had. They were kind, compassionate, and very professional. Of course none of us want to need this kind of service, but we all have to at some point and Black is a 10* place.

Laurie F.
“
Black Funeral Home and their staff were top shelf from start to finish. They handled my Father's services with the utmost respect and attention to detail. The overall arrangements were complicated as they required transport from out-of-state. They were handled with ease. Even during the planning phase months in advance, staff made time to accommodate my questions and allowed all the time I needed to make decisions. I wanted to offer my vote of confidence for their services and make this public thank you for all they did for my family.

“
I recently lost my teen son and father. From the first time we stepped into the home, the staff were some of the most compassionate, kind, thoughtful and informative people I've ever met. They worked at our pace, ensuring every necessary detail was accounted for. My family members were cremated, and I have no doubt, that they were treated with the utmost respect and care. If you want your loved ones, and yourself, to be treated with love and respect, please consider reaching out to them. They will be here for you, long after their services have been utilized.

I had met with Adam a few years ago to prepare funeral arrangements for myself and my husband and was extremely pleased with his warmth and concern that put me at ease for the future care that I would receive. The time came last Thursday when I would need his help in preparing for my husband’s services. The care and respect received from Adam and his staff was beyond reproach and very caring.

“
Business with a Funeral Home is not what one want's for themselves or their families, but when the need arises, I have found Conroy-Tully Walker to be the best at what they do.
With extreme compassion, the Walker family guides you through the options available to make the best decisions when, frankly, your mind is scrambled with sorrow at the loss of a loved one.

Unfortunately, My family has had to use these services several times over the last decade and we found that this funeral home has made this experience as comforting as possible.
The entire process from intake through burial is handled with utmost professionalism and care.

If needed, I highly recommend Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Homes.

Jim A.
“
Excellent service provided, very caring and professional. A1 in all aspects. Highly recommend.

“
Conroy-Tully Walker made the experience of saying goodbye to my Mom as easy as it could possibly be. Alissa and Adam went above and beyond helping me arrange a funeral and burial from out of state. When I say they were caring and professional in every aspect from meeting in person, advising me, checking on me, ordering flowers that matched my scant description ...I really mean they exceeded my expectations of what a funeral home would provide to their customers. I just can't recommend them any more confidently. This funeral home handled my grandmother's services in 1968 and I wouldn't have gone any place else for my mother, they gave me so much peace at a very difficult time. If I could give them more stars I would.

“
David & Alyssa were wonderful, they were able to help us through everything during those hard times and made the process easy. David was tremendous he works with other religions to accommodate our beliefs and he is extremely knowledgeable. Thank you so much for making this tough process so easy.

“
While our experience isn't fully over, I'll say that when we first arrived brokenhearted and confused the Director made us feel much better about what's always a sad experience.
I have a blended family, so writing an obituary was going to be a daunting experience.

Again, that was handled well and with grace. For such a sad endeavor, I'd recommend this place.

“
I would highly recommend Conroy-Tully Walker to anyone. Alissa Dodds was such a wonderful funeral director. She made a very difficult time so much easier. She is caring and profession. The funeral service was flawless and I felt like she truly cared about my loved one. She looked after every detail and helped to make a very difficult time a little easier for me and my family. Thank you Alissa, I will not soon forget your kindness during the whole process.

“
As a fourth generation funeral director, I rely upon a network of colleagues to help me if one of my client families experiences a death out of state. In southern Maine, I know I can count on Adam Walker and his team. I turn to them because if my family had a loss in that area, they are who I would call. I’m thankful for the professionalism and care that I know I can rely upon.

“
David is absolutely the best! My dearest brother's arrangement last month was exceptional. It was hard to be fully confident entrusting a company for something like this sight unforeseen being the family is 7+ hours away but the communication and reassurance provided was evident when we arrived. The home, the quality of care for my brother comforted us considering the occasion. I want to thank you again David and Conroy-Tully Walker FH for the care you provide to our loved ones and the compassion and professionalism to the families. I would definitely recommend for services.

At a time of great loss and pain, it’s comforting to know someone is guiding you down the path of saying your final goodbye to a loved one. Conroy Tully Walker, specifically Alissa, were wonderful. Alissa’s professionalism, knowledge and supportive manner calmed my family when we felt we were in the middle of an emotional storm.

The caring they extended to my husband, who passed tragically, eliminated so many concerns and worries. Alissa took us on as if we were personal members of her family. We are so appreciative of the excellent compassionate arrangements that were carried out without a misstep.

My family would highly recommend Conroy Tully Walker.

They were exceptional in making sure that everything was perfect for our Mom, and for all of us kids who were mourning. They made us comfortable and made sure that all questions and concerns were taken care of. Danny was great, as well as the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend.

“
The owner, Adam, went above and beyond for my family and I. We had issues with another funeral home that was mistreating my family and our loved one, so he went and transferred her here. He was very welcoming and comforting and even brought his dog to comfort us as well. They really did an amazing job. I recommend this place if you want your loved one taken care of respectfully and to have an easy process during the mourning period.

Sometimes people are faced with the difficult realities life throws at you, a life lost too soon. When my wife and I lost our son last year, Conroy-Tully Walker helped our family through THE darkest time of our lives. They were real, they were kind and they were compassionate. When looking for a funeral home in the area, you should know one thing; they are going to treat you as if you were their family because that’s what families do, they are there for each other. Thank you CTW staff for a long overdue thank you.

“
I have attending many wakes and funerals under the direction of Conroy, Tully & Walker and just have to say their facilities are spotless both inside and out, the staff are absolutely amazing and are so kind and helpful.

I have witnessed their attention to detail while providing the absolute amazing service they provide during a families weakest most vulnerable time.
Certainly a funeral home is not probably on the top of everybody’s list as none of us are looking to pass away however when a loved one departs our presence do you want the upmost respect and classy service to send this person out on top and based on everything that I have witnessed the service that Conroy, Tully & Walker provides is absolutely priceless I would encourage you when you lose that special person in your life to consider having Conroy, Tully & Walker handle this very difficult time in your life

The staff was beyond accommodating to me and my family in a difficult time. They walked me through each step of the process. The night my mom passed and they came to the nursing home to get her, the driver couldn’t have been any more considerate of us and even more towards the handling of my mother.

“
We used Conroy service to say the final farewell for my father. From our initial call until the end, the staffs were very accommodating to our family’s needs. My family could not have picked a better funeral home for the service. Thank you for providing the support our family needed.

Dealing with the tragedy and pain and loss of a loved one is truly beyond challenging. However and rather unbelievably Adam Walker and his extraordinary staff at Tully-Walker somehow understood and embraced the truth that the depth of one’s grief is directly proportional to the boundless depth of one’s love for that loved one.
That understanding was palpable throughout our memorial service and evident at every stage both before and after that service.

Never would I have thought that Tully- Walker or anyone else could begin to ease just even a bit of that grief. Adam Walker and his team did just that — caring, professional, empsthiec and more. Endless thanks from the Deborah Cummins family.

Robert C.
“
Adam and the staff of Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral home were very professional, caring and respectful. My husband was treated with dignity and compassion. Adam thoroughly explained all the details of the entire process to me and helped my daughter and I write a beautiful obituary. Adam made sure to have someone from his staff check on me to see if I was ok and if there was anything they could do to help me through the grieving process.

My husband’s urn was delivered to me at my home which I really appreciated.

I highly recommend Conroy-Tully-Walker Funeral Home.

“
Staff reached out out of state to assist with necessary arrangements and provide needed guidance. Very caring, helpful team.

I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the Staff of Conroy- Tully Walker. It was a very rewarding experience during this time of sorrow. From the moment I encountered the staff in organizing the arrangements, to the carrying out of the funeral, to the burial, it was with professionalism. All staff showed compassion, dedication, and true concern for my feelings.

My dealings were primarily with Melody Pereira for doing the planning, with Alissa Dodds for preparing the prayer service, the mass and burial, with Julie Ann Johnson for her follow up work, and Elizabeth for keeping in touch with her follow up texts.

Finally, I want to thank those who worked preparing Mary Jean, my wife. She looked beautiful, just the way she was before this terrible illness took her away.
