During the most difficult time in my life, Black Funeral Homes went above and beyond in helping me give my Husband the funeral he wanted, a green burial. It means so much to me knowing my loved one was in such good hands and gave my husband the respect and dignity he deserved. Even following up to make sure I was doing alright. Good people. So professional.

Adam R. Walker is my nephew and has many years in the Funeral Business managing and working all levels of the business. This facility was everything I hoped for, actually my experience w/Black Funeral exceeded any expectations I had! The staff went above and beyond with any questions and concerns I had. The owner, Adam, went above and beyond for my family and I. We had issues with another funeral home that was mistreating my family and our loved one, so he went and transferred her here. He was very welcoming and comforting and even brought his dog to comfort us as well. They really did an amazing job. I recommend this place if you want your loved one taken care of respectfully and to have an easy process during the mourning period.

My family and I cannot say enough about the wonderful job the entire staff did when my husband Jack passed away suddenly!!! They were all SOO compassionate and caring and have continued to offer support and help in any way necessary!! We asked Adam to help us make his funeral a true celebration of his life and ours and sure enough he did that and more!! Jack was an avid golfer, Adam suggested that we bring his clubs in and much to our surprise he displayed them in such a way that it brought smiles to all of us with friends still commenting!!Caitlin put a fabulous video together that we will enjoy forever!!

The staff was beyond accommodating to me and my family in a difficult time. They walked me through each step of the process. The night my mom passed and they came to the nursing home to get her, the driver couldn’t have been any more considerate of us and even more towards the handling of my mother.

Dealing with the tragedy and pain and loss of a loved one is truly beyond challenging. However and rather unbelievably Adam Walker and his extraordinary staff at Tully-Walker somehow understood and embraced the truth that the depth of one’s grief is directly proportional to the boundless depth of one’s love for that loved one.
That understanding was palpable throughout our memorial service and evident at every stage both before and after that service.

I had met with Adam a few years ago to prepare funeral arrangements for myself and my husband and was extremely pleased with his warmth and concern that put me at ease for the future care that I would receive. The staff is wonderful, cost is more than reasonable. Make sure you compare others first. Make sure you check this place out before making your decision!!! There are certain funeral homes (one, that I know of in South Berwick which shall remain nameless) that offer prepaying of services and then try to change the contract with the survivors; charging more than the contracted amount.
Conroy-Tully Walker made the experience of saying goodbye to my Mom as easy as it could possibly be. Alissa and Adam went above and beyond helping me arrange a funeral and burial from out of state. When I say they were caring and professional in every aspect from meeting in person, advising me, checking on me, ordering flowers that matched my scant description ...I really mean they exceeded my expectations of what a funeral home would provide to their customers. I just can't recommend them any more confidently. This funeral home handled my grandmother's services in 1968 and I wouldn't have gone any place else for my mother, they gave me so much peace at a very difficult time. If I could give them more stars I would.

While our experience isn't fully over, I'll say that when we first arrived brokenhearted and confused the Director made us feel much better about what's always a sad experience.
I have a blended family, so writing an obituary was going to be a daunting experience.
Again, that was handled well and with grace. For such a sad endeavor, I'd recommend this place.
