David & Alyssa were wonderful, they were able to help us through everything during those hard times and made the process easy. David was tremendous he works with other religions to accommodate our beliefs and he is extremely knowledgeable. Thank you so much for making this tough process so easy.
We used Conroy service to say the final farewell for my father. From our initial call until the end, the staffs were very accommodating to our family’s needs. My family could not have picked a better funeral home for the service. Thank you for providing the support our family needed.

At a time of great loss and pain, it’s comforting to know someone is guiding you down the path of saying your final goodbye to a loved one. Conroy Tully Walker, specifically Alissa, were wonderful. Alissa’s professionalism, knowledge and supportive manner calmed my family when we felt we were in the middle of an emotional storm.
The caring they extended to my husband, who passed tragically, eliminated so many concerns and worries. Alissa took us on as if we were personal members of her family. We are so appreciative of the excellent compassionate arrangements that were carried out without a misstep.

Dealing with the tragedy and pain and loss of a loved one is truly beyond challenging. However and rather unbelievably Adam Walker and his extraordinary staff at Tully-Walker somehow understood and embraced the truth that the depth of one’s grief is directly proportional to the boundless depth of one’s love for that loved one.
That understanding was palpable throughout our memorial service and evident at every stage both before and after that service.
Never would I have thought that Tully- Walker or anyone else could begin to ease just even a bit of that grief. Adam Walker and his team did just that — caring, professional, empsthiec and more. Endless thanks from the Deborah Cummins family.

Dan, Adam and Caitlin and all the staff were very kind and comforting through all the funeral stages. They made it easier for us at our time of sorrow. They were very organized, helpful and accommodating. The State Street Funeral home was elegant and comfortable. Many well-wishers commented how lovely it was.

As a fourth generation funeral director, I rely upon a network of colleagues to help me if one of my client families experiences a death out of state. In southern Maine, I know I can count on Adam Walker and his team. I turn to them because if my family had a loss in that area, they are who I would call. I’m thankful for the professionalism and care that I know I can rely upon.
I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the Staff of Conroy- Tully Walker. It was a very rewarding experience during this time of sorrow. From the moment I encountered the staff in organizing the arrangements, to the carrying out of the funeral, to the burial, it was with professionalism. All staff showed compassion, dedication, and true concern for my feelings.
My dealings were primarily with Melody Pereira for doing the planning, with Alissa Dodds for preparing the prayer service, the mass and burial, with Julie Ann Johnson for her follow up work, and Elizabeth for keeping in touch with her follow up texts.
Finally, I want to thank those who worked preparing Mary Jean, my wife. She looked beautiful, just the way she was before this terrible illness took her away.
I had met with Adam a few years ago to prepare funeral arrangements for myself and my husband and was extremely pleased with his warmth and concern that put me at ease for the future care that I would receive. The time came last Thursday when I would need his help in preparing for my husband’s services. The care and respect received from Adam and his staff was beyond reproach and very caring.
Flawless operation. Everybody says the same thing. So personable and professional. It’s almost like they anticipated our every need. Something so difficult was made to be so easy.

The owner, Adam, went above and beyond for my family and I. We had issues with another funeral home that was mistreating my family and our loved one, so he went and transferred her here. He was very welcoming and comforting and even brought his dog to comfort us as well. They really did an amazing job. I recommend this place if you want your loved one taken care of respectfully and to have an easy process during the mourning period.
I cannot say enough good things about Black Funeral Home. My husband died very unexpectedly last month and they went above and beyond helping me with the arrangements. Dan was patient explaining everything and very compassionate. To say thank you does not seem enough.

They worked at our pace, ensuring every necessary detail was accounted for. My family members were cremated, and I have no doubt, that they were treated with the utmost respect and care. I have planned funerals for a handful of family members and am familiar with the process. They went above and beyond to personalize the services, take care of every detail that was important, not only to me, but to each family member, and even helped with the daunting paperwork that one hates to deal with upon the death of a loved one.
David is absolutely the best! My dearest brother's arrangement last month was exceptional. It was hard to be fully confident entrusting a company for something like this sight unforeseen being the family is 7+ hours away but the communication and reassurance provided was evident when we arrived. The home, the quality of care for my brother comforted us considering the occasion. During the most difficult time in my life, Black Funeral Homes went above and beyond in helping me give my Husband the funeral he wanted, a green burial. Conroy-Tully Walker, especially Alissa, made one of the hardest times of my life so much easier. The building is gorgeous, the service was perfect, but above all the staff were beyond polite, helpful, and kind. I felt my father was in the right hands.
This facility was everything I hoped for, actually my experience w/Black Funeral exceeded any expectations I had! The staff went above and beyond with any questions and concerns I had. They were kind, compassionate, and very professional. Of course none of us want to need this kind of service, but we all have to at some point and Black is a 10* place.
The Conroy-Tully Walker team did an incredible job guiding us through the arrangements process. Alissa demonstrated her deep knowledge and professionalism every step of the way in the selection of services and she did this with patience and kindness. Caitlyn Walker wrote a beautiful tribute and performed a flawless Memorial service. Adam and Caitlyn Walker made sure the visiting hours, celebration of life and graveside Military Honors, all held on the same day were executed perfectly. My mother, sister and I could not have been more satisfied with our choice. Thank you for making a difficult time easier.
Black Funeral Home and their staff were top shelf from start to finish. They handled my Father's services with the utmost respect and attention to detail. The overall arrangements were complicated as they required transport from out-of-state. They were handled with ease. Even during the planning phase months in advance, staff made time to accommodate my questions and allowed all the time I needed to make decisions. I wanted to offer my vote of confidence for their services and make this public thank you for all they did for my family.

The staff was beyond accommodating to me and my family in a difficult time. They walked me through each step of the process. The night my mom passed and they came to the nursing home to get her, the driver couldn’t have been any more considerate of us and even more towards the handling of my mother.
Staff was very friendly and courteous. Building was clean and neatly organized, driveways were clear of snow and ice.

Conroy-Tully Walker made the experience of saying goodbye to my Mom as easy as it could possibly be. Alissa and Adam went above and beyond helping me arrange a funeral and burial from out of state. When I say they were caring and professional in every aspect from meeting in person, advising me, checking on me, ordering flowers that matched my scant description ...I really mean they exceeded my expectations of what a funeral home would provide to their customers. I just can't recommend them any more confidently. This funeral home handled my grandmother's services in 1968 and I wouldn't have gone any place else for my mother, they gave me so much peace at a very difficult time. If I could give them more stars I would.

The staff is wonderful, cost is more than reasonable. Make sure you compare others first. Make sure you check this place out before making your decision!!! There are certain funeral homes (one, that I know of in South Berwick which shall remain nameless) that offer prepaying of services and then try to change the contract with the survivors; charging more than the contracted amount.
Treat you really good during a really hard time. I highly recommend them.
We had a very nice experience with Conroy Tully. They were very caring and explained all the procedures that we would go through in a relaxing manner that made us feel at ease. Over all experience is 5 stars!
Also, they followed up several weeks later to see how we were and if there was anything we needed to let them know!!

Sometimes people are faced with the difficult realities life throws at you, a life lost too soon. When my wife and I lost our son last year, Conroy-Tully Walker helped our family through THE darkest time of our lives. They were real, they were kind and they were compassionate. When looking for a funeral home in the area, you should know one thing; they are going to treat you as if you were their family because that’s what families do, they are there for each other. Thank you CTW staff for a long overdue thank you.
My family and I cannot say enough about the wonderful job the entire staff did when my husband Jack passed away suddenly!!! They were all SOO compassionate and caring and have continued to offer support and help in any way necessary!! We asked Adam to help us make his funeral a true celebration of his life and ours and sure enough he did that and more!! Jack was an avid golfer, Adam suggested that we bring his clubs in and much to our surprise he displayed them in such a way that it brought smiles to all of us with friends still commenting!!Caitlin put a fabulous video together that we will enjoy forever!!

Adam and his staff was extremely remarkable to work with to honor my son who passed away recently young 23yrs old due to complicated health issues. I couldn't have picked a better place. They are warm, compassionate these only a few words to describe this experience. Also they are very family oriented and it's about the family during the hard time. I DEFINITELY would use this company again.

Adam and the staff of Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral home were very professional, caring and respectful. My husband was treated with dignity and compassion. Adam thoroughly explained all the details of the entire process to me and helped my daughter and I write a beautiful obituary. Adam made sure to have someone from his staff check on me to see if I was ok and if there was anything they could do to help me through the grieving process.
My husband’s urn was delivered to me at my home which I really appreciated.

Everyone at Black Funeral Home was so understanding, sympathetic and helpful during a very difficult time. Candis was kind and caring while arranging for cremation and navigating us through every detail making it seamless. She even checked in on us a month later to see how the family was doing. While our experience isn't fully over, I'll say that when we first arrived brokenhearted and confused the Director made us feel much better about what's always a sad experience.
I have a blended family, so writing an obituary was going to be a daunting experience.
Again, that was handled well and with grace. For such a sad endeavor, I'd recommend this place.
