There are things that we don’t want to happen but have to accept, things we don’t want to know but have to learn, and people we can’t live without but have to let go.” The Lord will guide him in the heavens and he will never suffer again, he is safe with the father of all mankind. “God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “Come to Me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.” *Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss…our prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Betsy, Jason, Christopher, Andrew and FamilyI am so sadden to hear about Bills passing. He had a such a huge heart and a great sense of humor! I loved being around him and listening to him laugh. I remember getting to talk road biking with him, I wish we had ridden together, but I wouldn’t have wanted to hold him back. He was way ahead of me with his riding level. I told mom and dad yesterday, they were very sadden to hear the news and worried about you Betsy. Know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers! Love you all

Dear Betsy & family, We were all very shocked and saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. Please take comfort in the years and love you shared. We all face the same hurdles & struggles in life, just to get through. But for those of us with family, and a shared love, we are never alone with our struggles. The last photo I saw of Bill, was of him and grandchildren in a hospital setting. That love & connection was present. The only thing Bill would want I think, as a grandfather, if you had to go, would be to keep that love kindled in those kids lives. Stay strong, remember those times with your grandchildren, and stay connected with the love in your family. Mike & Susan

Betsy and family- I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Billy’s passing. I will always remember his great sense of humor and laughter. He had such a big personality that will be missed by all who knew him. I hope that all of you will find that over time the tears and sadness you feel now at his passing will be replaced by cherished memories and laughter remembering all of the wonderful times that you had with him. This is not a goodbye but a “until we meet again” when you will be reunited in heaven. I wish I could attend the services but have a work commitment that will not allow me to get Maine this week. Love and hugs to you all!!
