Thomas J. Langzettel

WINDHAM - Thomas J Langzettel of Windham passed away on February 11, 2014 after a brief illness. He was 66. Tom was a proud graduate of Cheverus High School and the University of Southern Maine. A life-long learner, he pursued additional education in paralegal studies, conflict resolution and real estate appraisal. In later years he worked with several local organizations including Goodwill Industries as a Direct Support Professional and CRMA for adults with disabilities. His other passions included classic jazz, photography and the Boy Scouts of America. He was proud to be a member of the elite "Order of the Arrow" and shared his enthusiasm for scouting with members of several Scout Troops that he served. He is survived by his sister Cathy Bergstrom, his niece Charlotte Bergstrom, nephew George Bergstrom and great niece Olivia Bergstrom. The family will celebrate Tom's life on Saturday, March 8th at St Maximillian Kolbe church, 150 Black Point Road, Scarborough starting at 11:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial followed by a gathering and refreshments in the parish community room at noon. Friends are invited to join either celebration. Arrangements are under the direction of Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, ME.
