Gorham - Teresa Lynn Kramer, a loving and compassionate wife, mother and grandmother, was called to be with the Lord on June 18, 2023. Born on July 18, 1960, in San Fernando, CA, Terry was a dedicated and talented woman who devoted her life to her faith, family, and the service of others. Her love for Jesus was a guiding light throughout her life, and she found solace and comfort in the words of the Scripture: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).\n\nTerry spent her early childhood in California before moving to South Portland, Maine in 1969. She enjoyed being on the swim team and graduated from South Portland High School in 1978. \n\nTerry and Jeff married in 1984 and built their life together in Gorham. She worked as a bank teller, always serving her customers with kindness and a warm smile. In her free time, Terry found joy in gardening, reading, and caring for her husband and their home. She had a special talent for creating beautiful fish tanks and was known for her crafty and creative nature. Terry had a big heart for animals and helped wounded creatures whenever she had the opportunity. Her love for her children and grandchildren was immense, and they were the highlight of her day.\n\nTerry’s devotion to her faith was evident in her involvement with her church family and friends. She was a shining example of God's love, as she exemplified the Scripture: "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another" (John 13:35). \n\nTerry is survived by her devoted husband, Jeffrey Kramer; children; Amy Plourd, Jillian Varney, Katelyn (Bruce) Ordway, Joshua (Grace) Kramer; grandchildren, Logan and Luke Varney, Adelyn, Charlotte and Josiah Kramer, Everett Ordway; siblings, Gail Libby, Robert Libby, Jr.; mother-in-law, Nancy Kramer; brother and sister-in-law, Roger (Stephanie) Kramer; sister-in-law, Pamela Kramer; nieces, nephews and other loving family.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joyce Libby; father-in-law, Roger Kramer; and granddaughter, Lauren Varney. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts and lives of those she touched.\n\nVisiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, South Portland Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26, at 10:00 am at Deering Center Community Church, 4 Brentwood Street, Portland. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
