Rita M. Lambert

Rita M. Lambert, 94, a lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday May 29, 2013 at the Newton Center. She was born in Sanford on April 2, 1919 a daughter of the late Gedeon and Pauline (Bernier) Lambert. She attended Holy Family School and graduated from St. Ignatius High School. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Parish.For 30 years she was employed at the former Sanford Goodall Mills. After they closed in 1954 she then worked at Jagger Mills.She is predeceased by one sister, Yvette Juneau, two brothers, Roger Lambert and Gerard Lambert.She is survived by four nieces, Annette Juneau Lehner, Louise Juneau Binette, Helen Juneau Littlefield, Diane Juneau Levesque, grand nephews and nieces, Julia Binette Edwards, James Binette, Jeffrey Binette, Brandon Levesque, Erich Lehner, Michelle Littlefield, Cpl. Nathan Levesque.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church in Springvale. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
