Pauline M. Sears

WINDHAM - Pauline M. Sears, 74, of Varney Mill Rd, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Westbrook on June 16, 1939, the daughter of Louis and Rena Palmer Burnell. She attended local schools and graduated from Portland High School in the class of 1957. After high school Pauline enlisted and served in the United States Marine Corps. Pauline worked at the Burnham Morrill Factory for more than fifteen years, she then worked for the Maine Turnpike Authority as toll taker for several years following. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and doing puzzles. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Leonard Sears in 1994. She is survived by her five children Jay Bodman, Dawn Metivier, Terry Bodman, Laurie Hartley and Timothy Bodman; eight grandchildren Shaun and Joshua Metivier, Kristy Holt, Regina Sliger, Lena Cardona, Natasha Grover, Rachel Cardona, Shaina Metivier, Karrie Cardona and Malachi Bodman; seven great grandchildren. Visiting hours will held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:30am at the Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, ME. A Service will follow at the funeral home at 10:30am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.Online condolences may be expressed below.
