Mary Anne Lapomarda

Portland - Mary Anne Lapomarda, 99, died on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Mary was born in Portland on July 3, 1922, the daughter of the late Giro and Rosina (Penna) Fornisano. She attended local schools and graduated form Portland High School in the class of 1940. She married Frank P. Lapomarda on November 11, 1952 at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church. She was a devout communicant of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church and a life member of the Sodality of Sacred Heart and the Salvation Army Seniors. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Frank Lapomarda; two sisters, Josephine Manzo, Madeline Fornisano; two brothers, Samual Fornisano and Anthony Fornisano. She is survived by her sister Theresa Cockrell and her husband Lyell of MD; 7 nieces and nephews; 4 great nieces and nephews; 3 great great nieces and nephews. Services are private.
