South Portland Kathleen S. Connors, 43, of Hill Street, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 22, 2016. She was born in Portland, Maine on May 27, 1972 the daughter of John F. and Melissa Pinkham Connors. She attended local schools and graduated from Portland High School in the class of 1991. Kathleen worked several different jobs including Sams Club, Maine Mall Customer Service and Security, and dispatcher for the South Portland Police Department before taking on the full time job of mother and caregiver to her son Marcus of whom she was very proud. Her family commented that, Kathleen had a huge heart and would go out of her way to help others. She was a kind and caring person who was neverjudgmental of anyone, especially children. She enjoyed spending time on the computer, and her many Facebook friends. Her greatest accomplishment and the love of her life, however, was her son Marcus. She was very proud of his decision to serve in the United States Navy. Kathleen was predeceased by her brother, Shawn Connors. She is survived by her father, John F. Connors of South Portland; her mother, Melissa Flynn and step-father, Daniel Flynn of Portland; her fianc Steven Jordan of South Portland; son, Marcus Mainit currently stationed in Washington State; a brother Paul Green of Portland; a sister Kelly Connors of Portland; and her loving cat Pogi. A Memorial Service will be held from 4-7PM, Monday, February 29, 2016, at the VFW, 687 Forest Ave, Portland. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland.   5. I never met Kate, but I do send my Deepest Condolences to her friend, Steve Jordan with deep regrets on your love one! My daughter Charlene had the same aneurysm happen to her last July. We almost lost her! May God be with you in this time of mourning. So sorry for your loss. Ruth Cyr….
