  5. Barbara Hill was a dedicated teacher at ORHS and I was her student my freshman year in Algebra 1. More than that she was responsible for encouraging the UNH Mathematics Department to dedicate the Math Resource Center in my father’s memory. I will forever grateful to her for this. I only recently learned that she has continued her support of the Richard H Balomenos Fund for Math Education at UNH throughout these decades. Clearly math education was dear to her heart. I want her family to know how much she was appreciated. May you accept my deepest sympathy at her passing. Sincerely, Shaula Balomenos Levenson
