Yolande DuBay

Yolande (Demers) DuBay, 82 Passed on to Heaven in the arms of her beloved husband, Emery DuBay, after a long and courageous struggle with illness, on February 24, 2006.Born in Sanford, Maine, August 28, 1923, she will be reunited in Heaven with her parents, Ernest and Yvonne (Gourde) Demers, sister Clotelde Bemis and brothers, Fernande, Gerard, Robert and Alphonse Demers. Yolande was blessed with an abundance of love. Emery and Yolande were married November 04, 1944. Their sixty-one year marriage has been a shining example of the meaning of love and commitment.Yolande leaves behind four children, Albert, Mark, Sharon and Carl; ten grandchildren, Michele, David, Jennifer, Jessika, Ilka, Erika, Ilia, Casey, Justin and Robert. Her legacy will be handed down to nine great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Isaac, Takoda, Keariel, Saryn, Xavier, Brooklyn, Madison and Damien. Yolande is also survived by two brothers, Rene and Roger Demers and two sisters, Lorraine Lawrick and Jeanne Joyce. An 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 66 North Ave., Sanford, on Thursday, March 02, 2006.
