William S. Dawson

William S. Dawson, 91, of Lyman passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family. He joined our dear Lord on September 14, 2019. Formerly of North Reading and Medford, MA.He was the beloved husband of Marjorie E. (Conrad). He was born on April 30, 1928 in Boston, the son of the late Winifred (Smith) and William Oliver Dawson. He was a dear brother of Donald, Marilyn (Primrose) and Linda (Gaudet). He is the father of William Jr., and wife, Kitty of Fairfield, Robert and James of Acton. He is the grandfather of William III of Beverly and Andrew and fiancee, Samantha of Winslow. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.Bill was a quiet man who enjoyed animals, especially horses, gardening, cutting wood, farming and spending time with loved ones. He was a long time faithful member of the Saco Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was thankful for all the prayers and support of his church family.A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 26th beginning at 11:00 A.M. followed by a light luncheon at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 46 Cleveland Street, Saco, with Pastor Brenda Johnson officiating. Burial with 2:00 P.M. at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Stanley Road in Springvale.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Seventh Day Adventist Church to help those in need.To leave a message of condolence click tab at left.>
