William "Billy" John Kimball Jr

William “Billy” John Kimball, Jr., 43, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 21, 2025. Born on December 29, 1981, in Portland, Maine, Billy was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose generous heart and unwavering loyalty touched countless lives.

Billy’s greatest joy was being a father to his son, Liam. He cherished every moment they spent together—attending Liam’s games, fishing, hiking, playing video games, and enjoying days at the beach. Family was at the core of Billy’s life. He treasured beach days with his mom, dinner dates, shopping trips, and poolside memories with his sister Meghan and nieces, Payton and Charley, as well as the comfort of his Nana Bet’s home-cooked meals. Whether skiing, golfing, hiking with his dog Max, or simply being surrounded by loved ones, Billy embraced life with passion and enthusiasm.

A graduate of Cheverus High School, Billy had an adventurous spirit from a young age, spending his childhood riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, climbing trees, and making memories outdoors. He had an incredible gift for storytelling—always ready with a wild tale to share, filled with energy, humor, and a touch of the unexpected.

Billy had a deep love for animals, often saying they were better than people. But his greatest passion was helping others. For the past decade, he devoted much of his time to the sober community, always putting others before himself and offering support, guidance, and kindness to anyone in need. Even when he had little, he gave everything he could.

Billy is survived by his beloved son, Liam Kimball; his mother, Ruth Daigler, and stepfather, David Daigler; his sister, Meghan Seekins, and brother-in-law, Thomas Seekins; and his cherished nieces, Payton and Charley Seekins. He is also reunited in peace with his father, William John Kimball, Sr.

Billy lived by the motto Carpe Diem, seizing every moment with love, passion, and loyalty. His heart was enormous, his presence unforgettable, and his love for family, friends, and animals immeasurable. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His love and light will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Burial services will be held privately with family as Billy is laid to rest alongside his father.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Woodlands Country Club in Falmouth, Maine. If you would like to share a cherished memory or story at the celebration, please reach out to Billy’s sister, Meghan.

  4. Billy was a very good friend of mine. We worked together doing multiple events. I remember one time at the gym he was trying to outdo his best on the bench pressed. He picked it up and got it down, on the way up I felt him struggling so I helped him ..he got up off the bench and said
    DUDE !!!
I had that ! I could have broken my record. But that was his determination and I loved him for that !
But he impressed me the most when I took him to New York. And he competed in the body building competition. He was a good friend and a mentor when it came to nutrition and working out…Missed greatly ,
    All.my love brother .
