Wilbur E. Woodman

Wilbur E. Woodman, 87 years old, of Lebanon, ME died Saturday June 19, 2004 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford, ME.Mr. Woodman was born on December 5, 1916 in Auburn, ME. He was the son of Wilbur Sr. and Louise Horne Woodman. Mr. Woodman was WWII veteran serving in the Army.An auto mechanic by trade, Mr. Woodman was well renowned as one of the best stock car builders in the area. He loved racing, and supplied many racers with quality cars.Predeceasing Mr. Woodman is his wife Doris Ricker Woodman.Surviving are three sons, Eldon and Janice Woodman of Sanford, Hugh and Cheryl Woodman of Lebanon, and Florida, Stephen and Kathleen Woodman of Lebanon; a foster son Robert and Katherine Thompson of Lebanon, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.Family and friends are invited to attend a time of fellowship on July 2, 2004 at the family farm on Smith Rd. in Lebanon from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Greenwood Center, 1142 Main St., Sanford, ME 04073.
