Wendy Anne Bowler 1959-2022 SOUTH PORTLAND--Last tide out-for Wendy Anne Bowler, wife of Paul A. Rollins from South Portland, Maine. With the love of her husband, Paul of 31 years, they have had much joy, travels and love shared for so many years. Wendy passed away peacefully on March 4, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 10, 1959 in Brunswick, Maine the only daughter of Allene and Peter Bowler. In 1980, she graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. For 8 years she taught middle school in Wyoming before moving back to Maine. For the last 32 years, she managed and owned the H&R Block Franchise in Gorham, Maine. Wendy was a certified scuba instructor and dive master and helped her husband with his scuba business, Rollins Scuba Association. Wendy loved to take new students out on their first ocean dives. Wendy and her husband, Paul, enjoyed traveling, especially to scuba diving in Bonaire, NA in the Caribbean, Cyprus in the Mediterranean, Great Barrier Reef in Australia, Alaska, Hawaii, Florida and other dive sites. Wendy was president of the Gorham Woman's Club and President-Elect of GFWC, Maine. She was also very helpful aiding her husband in his many Masonic duties. She is survived by her husband, Paul A. Rollins; her stepdaughter, Selene Elizabeth Rollins of Foster City, CA; her brothers, John Bowler of Gorham, ME, Steve Bowler and his wife Jayne of Belfast, ME and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth R. Stevens of Amelia Island, FL. There will be no service. There will be a celebration of life held this summer. Life without family and friends would have been quiet. Thank you all for bringing brightness into my life!   1. My heart skipped a beat when I was told, Wendy passed away. My husband Bob and I, have known Wendy since 1994, when she first prepared our taxes. Coming back year after year, we became very comfortable with her easygoing way. She always remembered us, our kids, and our family financial needs. Wendy always made us feel more then Clients.   4. I worked for Wendy many years ago not long before she took over her Dad’s business at H & R. She was always kind with her shining smile and can do attitude, I learned so much working with her doing some bookkeeping duties and other misc. work. She had such a joy for life. Wendy so enjoyed her scuba diving when she talked about her and Paul diving that was always the biggest smile. The world is so going to miss you Wendy.
