Wayne Edward Lytle, 57, of Saco, formerly of York, passed away on Tuesday February 13, 2007 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. For years he battled kidney disease as well as diabetes. He was born in York Harbor on December 30, 1949, a son of Fred E. Sr., and Maybelle R. (Drew) Lytle. He graduated from York High School in 1969.He previously had been employed by Lytle Paving Company, Davison Rubber and Cohen Egg Farm until declining health forced him to stop working. He enjoyed spending time with the family at their camp in Denmark. His hobbies included collecting die cast cars as well as tending to his flowers and gardens.He is predeceased by his parents, one brother, Roger Lytle.He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Flo (Colby) Lytle of Saco, one son, Richard Lytle of Hollis, stepdaughters, Sue Noel of Springvale, Kelly Allen of South Berwick, brothers, Brad Lytle of York, Robert Lytle of South Carolina, Carl Lytle of New Durham, NH, Phillip Lytle of Elliot, Charles Lytle of Cape Neddick, Fred Lytle Jr. of York, sisters, Donna Cole of York and Beverly Mack of Sanford, sister in law, Kathy Lytle of Elliot, wife of the late Roger Lytle, several nieces and nephews, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.A Celebration of Wayne's life will be celebrated on Saturday February 17 at 12noon at the Beech Ridge Assembly of God Church in York. Casual attire by all is encouraged, as Wayne would have preferred it this way.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale.
