Such a great loss. I met Warren while working with Jackie at the bank. Warren and Jackie volunteered to help us work on the bank’s float for the Holly Daze Parade. He volunteered every year except for this one because he was ill. Every year we would come up with things we wanted on the float and Warren would come up with ways to make it happen. He would accept all our big plans with his usual dry humor and wit. This year we couldn’t get the generator started on the float and I told Warren that if he had been there, he would have figured it out and got it started! And Warren agreed with me! Warren, you will be missed, rest in peace my friend.
