Vinny G. Pardo-Piper

Vincent "Vinny" Pardo-Piper, 70, of Sanford, passed away at the home of his extended family, Jon and Ola Brien on Thursday October 1, 2015. Vinny was born in Florida on January 21, 1945 a son of the late Vicente and Ruth (Hunter) Pardo-Piper.Vinny was well known in the Sanford community. Vinny was a very social, personable person who left a lasting impression if you had the privelidge of getting to know him. He is predeceased by his wife, Harriette (Blanchette) Piper.He is survived by his extended family and care givers, Jon and Ola Brien and their children of Sanford as well as many friends who loved him. Vinny also leaves behind family in Peru, his sister Imelia, as well as many nieces and nephews and cousins throughout the United States.A memorial celebration of Vinny's life will be held on Sunday October 25th from 11 to 1PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
