Valerie Jean Riley

Valerie J. Riley, 46, of Springvale, died peacefully at her home on December 2, 2021 following years of declining health.Valerie was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on April 5, 1975. When she was young, she went to live with her grandmother in Belfast where she grew up and raised her four children before relocating to Springvale approximately eight years ago.Valerie enjoyed collecting rocks, gardening, butterflies, going for walks and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Rest in beautiful peace Valerie.Surviving are her boyfriend, Roland Hoyt of Springvale; four children, Kenneth Cook of Belfast, Latisha Cook and her husband Lucas Boles of Belfast, Sharon Lane of Springvale and Alton Lane and his significant other, Cassidy Gowen of Lisbon; three grandchildren, Ryker Lane, Valeria Riley and Landon Lane and two brothers, Jeremy Moulton of Springvale and Josh Nordin of Florida.A celebration of life will be held for Valerie at a date to be announced.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
