SOUTH PORTLAND - Trena Jean Pinkham, 49 of South Portland, died Friday May 3, 2013 at Maine Medical Center, surrounded by her family, after a four year battle with cancer. Trena was born in Portland a daughter of Jack L. and Marlene L. Martz Cribby, Sr.She attended local schools and was a 1982 graduate of South Portland High School. Trena studied hairdressing and cosmetology at Pierre's Beauty School in Portland. She worked as a hairdresser for several years and operated her own shop. She later made a career change and became a Certified Nurse's Assistant. Her last position was with Maine Medical Center, retiring in 2010 due to her failing health. On September 8, 2005 she married Bill Pinkham. She was an outgoing person who was a member of the Portland Eagles Club. She enjoyed boating. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, which she did almost every day. Trena liked plants and enjoyed gardening. She will be membered as a warm and giving person. Trena was predeceased by her father Jack Cribby, Sr. in 1998, a brother Jack Cribby, Jr. in 1979, a son, Brent E. Dudley in 2010. Survivors include her husband Bill Pinkham of South Portland; her mother, Marlene Cribby of South Portland; a daughter Fawn Marie Dudley of South Portland; a sister Lorena J. Cribby of South Portland; a stepdaughter Brandy Lee Pinkham of Oakland; a stepson Herbert Pinkham, III of Portland; and three grandchildren, Geovanni Mayorquin, Bentley Mayorquin, and Asher Pinkham. The family would like to thank VNA and the staff of the Gibson Wing at Maine Medical Center for their kindness and compassion. Visitation will be held 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday May 7, 2013 at Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Private burial will be in New Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.   12. to trena’s mother i loved trena she is a wonderful young lady she always helped frank babysit all off our children many years she was great with them . we also made a wonderful trip to florida many years ago just the just the girls we had the best time i always missed her smiling face and when i did see her it was always great she is a wonderful person and my heart goes out to you and her family
