May 20, 1964 ~ May 1, 2022

It is with the heaviest hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle and grandfather, Todd Lanigan. Todd left this earth May 1, 2022 surrounded by his precious family. Todd was born on May 20, 1964 in Exeter NH to Jean Gardner and Thomas Lanigan Sr. Todd was filled with more love and kindness than this world could contain. Which can be the only reason he was taken from this earth so soon. Spending time in the outdoors, fishing trips and gatherings with his family is where Todd was happiest. Any room Todd entered, was immediately filled with his warm laugh, and contagious smile. To know Todd was to love him deeply. He was a friend to many, and cared for all. Todd spent many years living in and loving the city of Sanford, Maine. Todd will be missed by so many. But he will be extraordinarily missed by his cherished son, Ryan Gilpatrick and wife Heidi and their children Alyssa, Dustin, Trey, Isabella, and Keegan. As well as missed by sister Shari Baranski, brother Thomas (TC) Lanigan and partner Tonia King, sister Vickie Lewis, sister Tammy Anderson and her husband Irving (Timothy) Anderson, brother Shawn Gardner and wife Charlene, Sister Tracy Rickett and husband Jason, sister Kathy Gardner Stacy and husband Robert, as well as many Nieces, Nephews cousins and friends. Todd will be guided into heaven by his beloved Mother, Virginia Gardner, Father Thomas F Lanigan Sr, and Grandson Ty Edward Gilpatrick. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 15th from 2 to 6PM at the American Legion, 656 Main Street, Springvale.

  7. Uncle Todd,
Honestly Im heartbroken I just cant stop thinking about you or the fact that Ill never see your face or hear your laugh again. I could write a book reminiscing about all our times together and the things Ill miss. You always made me feel so loved, accepted and never missed a chance to tell me how proud you were of me! Youll never know how much it truly meant! Most of all Ill miss your laugh and hearing you say Tash when I did something crazy. I remember right before Kyley was born you and Ryan were at my house you were fixing your flat tire and the car fell on your hand. And I ran around screaming call 911 in a panic and you bursted out laughing with the infamous Tash while your hand was stuck under the car thats how you alway were laughing even in hard situations you were so strong!
