Timothy W. Brackett Sr., 52, of Somersworth, died on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover.Timothy was born on February 20, 1963 to Henry and Gloria (Babcock) Brackett in Alfred where he grew up and attended local schools, graduating from Massabesic High School in 1981. He held several jobs during his life including working in the Registry of Deeds at the York County Courthouse in Alfred, at Cyro, Fairchild Semiconductor and finally at Tyco in Portsmouth where he was employed until he had to retire due to declining health.Timothy loved playing Dungeons and Dragons and had been involved in several Dungeons and Dragons gaming groups in the area. He also enjoyed photography, collecting comic books and was an avid Patriots fan. Timothy was a devoted family man and was especially fond of spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a kind and loving person and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Timothy was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Ann Brackett and by a niece, Jessica Page.Surviving are his mother Gloria Sprague and her husband Harold of Alfred; his father, Henry Brackett and his wife Bonnie of Temple, Texas; three children, Laura Brackett of Somersworth, NH, Erica Whitaker of Biddeford and Timothy W. Brackett, Jr. of Somersworth; three grandchildren, Emelei Hefler, Kaleb Hefler and Noah Brackett, all of Somersworth; three siblings, Cindy Sanborn and her fiancee Jeffrey Webber of Alfred, Jayme Page and her companion Steve Vangel of Shapleigh and Terri Polk and her husband Billy of Texas; his longtime companion, Leanne Roberson and her son Anthony of Somersworth and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Alfred.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
