  8. I was so sorry to learn of Tom’s passing. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. I met Tom when we worked together briefly back in 1987 and we kept in touch all these years. We would try to get together once a year and we would usually meet in Portsmouth for lunch. We always had a lot of laughs. And I so enjoyed receiving his postcards from his many travels. Tom was a dear friend and I will sincerely miss him.

    – Coleen

  9. Tom was sweet, always gracious, and had a wonderful wry sense of humor. I worked at the library with him and any daily interaction would brighten my day. In later years, we’d run into each other at Trader Joe’s and he always seemed to be on the go, either returning from or planning a fun trip. He had a way of touching people’s hearts, and I’ll always remember him with great fondness. R.I.P. Tom, you were gone too soon, but you lived a most admirable and inspiring life and left only goodness behind you.

    – Margot

  10. I’m sorry for your loss. I accidentally came upon this obituary when I was looking for an obituary for a friend’s mother. I saw Moody. Made me think of the Australian show. Any soul with an affinity for animals, especially cats =^..^= is a soul certainly destined for heaven. Sorry. Nicole in Pittsburgh Pa
