Therese Y. Migneault

Therese Y. Migneault, 85, a lifelong resident of Sanford, died Tuesday at the Greenwood Center in Sanford after a long illness.She was born in Sanford on May 16, 1927, the daughter of Francois and Ernestine (D'Anjou) Migneault and attended Holy Family School.She was employed with several shoe shops over the years including Universal Shoe and Encore Shoe, retiring in 1982."Tante" as she was known by her family enjoyed playing Beano and cards.She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.Survivors include her niece Lynn Gray her partner Mike Morin and her sons Russell and Alex of York, nephew Paul Migneault and his daughter Miranda of Springvale, nephew Guy Migneault, his wife Sonya and their children Bennett and Abigail of Sanford, niece Susan Currier and her husband Brad of Bayfield, CO, niece Christa Migneault of Springvale and her sister in law Lucille Turgeon of Sanford.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish at Holy Family Church, 66 North Avenue, Sanford. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
