Theresa C. Vermette

Theresa C. Vermette, 62, of Sanford, passed surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born in Sanford on June 22, 1947, a daughter of Raymond and Louise (Brouillard) L'Heureux.On October 8, 1966 she married Phillip J. Vermette at St. Ignatius Church in Sanford. They were happily married for 43 years. She brought joy to everyone she met and will be sorely missed by her family, many nieces, nephews and friends.She is predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Louise L'Heureux, one brother, Ernest L'Heureux.She is survived by her beloved husband, Phillip J. Vermette of Sanford, her four children and their spouses, Stephen and Michelle Vermette of Biddeford, Andrea and Alan Damiani of Foster, Rhode Island, Michelle and John Lavallee of Sanford and Norman and Aubrie Vermette of Sanford. She was also the loving "Meme" to eight grandchildren, Craig, Derek, Lauren, Kaleb, Lane, Nicholas, Zachary and Emma. She is also survived by one sister, Aline Riddle of Alfred.Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.
