Theresa Johnson

Theresa C. Johnson, 70, of Acton, died March 22 in Venice, FL, her winter home.She was born in Inverness, Nova Scotia on July 30, 1939 the daughter of Duncan A. and Mary Margaret (MacDonald) MacIsaac. She attended local schools and was a graduate of St. Martha's School of Nursing.Terry came to the US in 1962 and eventually went to work at Tufts Dental School in the oral surgery department as a registered nurse.In 1968 she met her husband Rudolph Johnson and they married in 1969. They lived in Waukegan, IL for 2 years while Rudy served in the US Navy. In 1971 they settled in Rudy's hometown of Sanford.Terry was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.She was predeceased by her parents, a sister Leona and a brother David.Besides Rudy, she is survived by two daughters, An Louise and Marie, 2 sons, Paul and Thomas, a brother Lewis, 2 sisters Catherine and Isobel and 2 grandsons.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Church of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, 10 Payne Street, Springvale.A celebration of her life will immediately follow at Above and Beyond Catering Facility, 6 Washington Street, Sanford (the former Town Club.)The Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford is assisting with local arrangements.
