PORTLAND - Thelma B. Bonelli, Born March 6, 1946 She was a resident of Portland Me, born and raised. Thelma, known as Terrie to her friends and family had a long term illness from which she passed away at the Barren Center in Portland on Wednesday November 14th, 2012. Terrie became a resident of the Barren Center in August 2007 where she received excellent care from a caring and wonderful staff and kept everyone laughing a good deal of the time. Terrie attended local schools, including Portland High School, she was later the first of two of women to attend the Rhode Island Job Corp. She received her GED in 1964 and went on to attend The University of Southern Maine. In Terrie's healthier days she enjoyed baking cookies, flour fights, making jewelry, writing music and poems, doing volunteer work and taking care of her furry friends. What she enjoyed most was laughing and having fun. Through the years Terrie touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity - she maintained her trade mark sense of humor until the very end. One of 4 children born to Dorothy and Beacher Cyr, Thelma was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by C.J. (Bonelli) Tuliano and her wife Dawn of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Terryle Bonelli of Portland; 2 sisters, Kathi Farr and her husband Ernie of South Portland, Sharon Abel of Windham; a brother, John Cyr and his wife Sheryl of Portland; as well as several nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews and friends all of whom were blessed to know her and will miss her dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service 11:00 Monday November 19, 2012 at Forest City Cemetery, Lincoln Street, South Portland.
