Tammy M. Baron

Tammy M. Baron, 51, of North Berwick, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, September 20, 2010 following a brief battle with brain cancer. Tammy was born in Laconia, New Hampshire on December 20, 1958, a daughter of Robert and Doralyn (Hardy) Harper. She graduated from Belmont High School in 1977.On July 8, 1978 Tammy married Jerry Baron in Laconia, NH.In 1987 Tammy and her husband settled in North Berwick. For over 20 years Tammy owned and operated Tam Care, a daycare for children. Her passion was caring for all the children entrusted to her. Those who attended her daycare were considered part of her family. Caring for children brought joy to Tammy as well as lots of smiles. Tammy was a devoted wife, mother and caregiver. She also enjoyed kayaking, snowshoeing and various outdoor activites.Tammy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jerry Baron of North Berwick, her children, Jeremy Baron and his wife, Holly of North Berwick, Eric Baron and his wife, Jennifer of North Berwick, Tonya Baron of North Berwick, a granddaughter, Brooke Baron of North Berwick, her father, Robert Harper and his companion Barbara DiRoma and her mother Doralyn Harper of Belmont, NH, a sister, Trudy Kenny of Belmont, NH, and four nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11AM at the funeral home.
