Stephen M. Doiron

Stephen M. Doiron, 43, of Sanford died in Sanford on August 2, 2011.Stephen was born in Sanford on September 17, 1967 to Roger and Marilyn (Dejong) Doiron and attended local schools, graduating from Sanford High School in 1986. In 1991 he married Anne Knapp and together they had three children.Stephen was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed taking his children to races. He was a very hard worker and dedicated provider for his family. He had been employed at the Sanford Sewerage District for nearly nine years. Stephen was a kind and loving man, he always had a soft spot in his heart for the disabled. He will be remembered as a devoted father and family man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are his wife, Anne Doiron of Sanford; three children, Seth, Anna and Hope Doiron of Sanford; his mother, Marilyn Doiron of Sanford; his father, Roger Doiron of Sanford, his brother, John Doiron and his wife Jean of Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 5th at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford.
