Sheldon Moeller

Sheldon G. "Moe" Moeller, 76, of Alfred, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2009 at the Gosnell House in Scarborough. He was born in Neillsville, Wisconsin on June 27, 1932, a son of Jacob and Helene (Reindal) Moeller.He served several years in the US Navy and retired from the Naval Reserve as a Boatswain's Mate First Class in 1980He was an active member of the Sanford AMVET's, VFW ,American Legion, Wolves Club and Sanford KC Social ClubHe retired from Sciavi Enterpirses in 2008 after many years of service.Sheldon is predeceased by his parents, and one sister, Karen Kanderfur.He is survived by companion of 17 years, Irene Carter of Alfred, one brother, Jake Moeller of Chicago, nephew, Allen Moeller, nieces, Lorrie Moeller and Cheryl Moeller, step children, Rita Ann Sublett, Tammy Carter, Kellie Carter, as well as other nieces and nephews, 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, one godson, Jason TowbridgeVisiting hours will be on Saturday, February 28 from 12noon to 2pm and 7 to 9pm with a funeral service at 1:30pm at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the Gosnell House Memorial Hospice House, 180 US Route One #1, Scarborough, Maine 04074To leave the family a message of condolence please use the "condolences" tab to the left.
