Shawn M. Purcell

Shawn M. Purcell, 37, of Newfield, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 30, 2020. He was born in Malden, MA, on August 19, 1982 a son of Charles and Diane (Paquette) Purcell. He graduated from Lynn Technical School.Shawn was employed by B.F. Goodrich in Peabody for several years as well as Walmart. He enjoyed computer games, hiking and playing with his dog Ellie. He was an avid reader and kept up with world events. He loved dining out and will be remembered as a quiet and peaceful man.Shawn is predeceased by his father, Charles Purcell.He is survived by his mother, Diane Purcell, sister, Jennifer Purcell, maternal grandmother, Doris Paquette and several aunts, uncles and cousins.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 7th at 11am at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, 66 North Ave. in Sanford.The family requests donations may be made in Shawn's memory to the kidneyfund.orgCondolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
