SOUTH PORTLAND - Sharon L Violette, 67, of South Portland passed away unexpectedly on Sept 27 at Maine Medical Center. She was born on Aug 5, 1947 a daughter of William and Mary (Killinger) Cardona. Sharon attended local schools. She was a former communicant of St. Dominic's Church and also Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Sharon worked for Goodwill Industries for many years. She loved spending time with her family and loved her granddaughter very much. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel Violette in 1996, her Sister Jeanne Cram and her parents. She is survived by a son; William Violette and his wife Frances, of Wailua HI; one grandchild Courtney, of Windham; three sisters; Mary Jane Haycock and her husband Bruce of Biddeford, Deborah Norton and her husband Leon of Pittsfield, and Ann Marie Haycock and husband Stanley of Raymond; many nieces and nephews and cousins, including David Cram-Stanley whom she lived with. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A 10:00 a.m. funeral service will be held at the South Portland Chapel, on Friday. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.Online condolences may be expressed below.
