Savana M. Tippett, 17, of Sanford passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born on June 7, 2006, in Sanford, where she grew up with her mother and younger brother and attended local schools. She would have graduated from Sanford High School in the spring of 2024. In her short life, Savana's passion for animals led her to volunteer at Grammy Rose Dog Sanctuary. She also loved horses and took riding lessons and volunteered at Moon run Farm in North Berwick. Savana loved other cultures and experiencing diverse foods, languages, and celebrations. She enjoyed traveling and looked forward to exploring the world. She had a quirky sense of humor, was intelligent beyond her years and loved all genres of music which could be heard blasting from her room. Savana had an outstanding knowledge of dogs, and her goal was to find a career with animals. She loved the ocean and nature in general and was interested in trying hunting. Savana's impact on all who knew her will leave a hole in many hearts. She is predeceased by her father Daniel Tippett. Savana is survived by her mother, Erin Brinkert, her younger brother Isaac, her grandparents Jo-Ellen and Ric Harris of Sanford, Robert Brinkert of MA, Deborah Jean of Sanford, Herb Morin, of Sanford, Dan and Sherry Tippett of AL, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. At the family's request, services for Savana will be private. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Savana's memory can be made to the Animal Welfare Society of Kennebunk at https://animalwelfaresociety.org/give/ or Grammy Rose Dog Sanctuary in Acton, at https://grammyrose.org/donate/.   8. I only knew Savannah through horses as I was her first riding instructor. She loved animals with all her heart. I’m deeply saddened to hear of her passing. All my love to Erin and Jo-Ellen.

  10. I didn’t know Savana but was very touched after reading of her passing. She sounds like a kind and beautiful soul with many interests.I don’t know why her life was cut short but I guess God has big plans for her.   12. Savana made such an impact on me, she was stoic but had a keen sense of humor and I loved to see her smile. I later was lucky to also have her brother whom she loved so much. Two very special people.
