Sarah DesRoberts

Sarah (Desrochers) DesRoberts, 89, of Sanford, passed away in the house she was born on Wednesday May 3, 2017. Her family and friends were at her side when she passed. She was born in Sanford on February 27, 1928 the daughter of the late Alphonse and Anita (Cormier) Desrochers.Throughout her working career she was employed by Kesslin shoe, 5 & Dime, Gene's Bakery, Masure's Bakery, Norge Village, Sprague Electric and retired from Elcon. She had a strong work ethic and had great friends and relatives that were all with her till the end of her life.She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Leo DesRoberts, son, Ronald L. DesRoberts, son in law, Richard M. Mee.She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (DesRoberts) Mee, daughter in law, Monique DesRoberts, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephew.The family would like to thank Arcadia New England and Wentworth Hospice for the care given to Sarah, we love you all.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 10th at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux, Holy Family Church in Sanford.
