Sara J. Frankel. 36, of Sanford, died at her home on Sunday, August 21, 2016.Sara was born in Los Angeles, California on March 17, 1980 to David and Cherry Frankel. She lived in Hollywood until the age of seven when she relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where she grew up and attended local schools. She moved to Maine in 2005.Sara was a devoted mother who referred to her boys as the window to her soul. When she was young she enjoyed ice skating with her father. She also enjoyed writing and drawing and had recently begun attending Curtis Lake Christian Church. Sara was a kind and loving woman with many friends. We will all miss our beloved Sara. We love you.Surviving are her two sons, Vincent Elvis Cheney and Ethen James Cheney, both of Acton; her parents, Cherry Frankel of Cottonwood, Arizona and David Frankel of Oakland, Maine and her grandfather, Alan Frankel of Waterville, Maine.A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 31st at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider sending a memorial contribution to the Celebrate Recovery Program at Curtis Lake Christian Church, 38 Westview Drive, Sanford, Maine 04073.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
