Sapphyre Skye Perro

Sapphyre Skye Perro died unexpectedly on Monday, April 16, 2007 at the tender age of four.Sapphyre was born on June 17, 2002 in York, ME and has graced this world with happiness ever since. She was born the daughter of Rachel Dube of Manchester, NH and Nick Perro of Lebanon, ME.Sapphyre's infectious smile brought joy to everyone that met her. The grace, elegance, and little girl qualities she showed were equally matched by her grittiness, strong willed attitude and sometimes-tomboyish fun.Understandably, Sapphyre enjoyed the things most little girls do. She took tap and ballet lessons, enjoyed playing dress-up, and loved to have her nails and hair done. She loved the families puppies, anything to do with mermaids, and like all little ladies she loved to shop, and wanted to be a singer. But there was another side to Sapphyre. One that often amazed people she met, and left a lasting impression. See, Sapphyre could also hold her own with the boys. She loved to exercise, and often out battled her friends in push-up and sit-up competitions. Sapphyre loved to wrestle, study Tae Kwan Do, play with trucks, and go four wheeling. She was a member of the Manchester Monarchs Kids Club, and enjoyed being on the ice as well.Sapphyre was not your typical four year old. Sapphyre could speak Spanish, French, and even use sign language. She had a photographic memory and extensive vocabulary for a young girl, and could carry on a conversation with most adults and never miss a beat. The blessings that Sapphyre bestowed upon this world will certainly be missed by many, but her sweetness, loving embrace, and that infectious smile will never be forgotten.Surviving Sapphyre is her mother, Rachel Dube of Manchester, NH, her father Nick Perro and his wife Bethanie of Lebanon, ME, her brothers Jordan Thomas Giroux, Alexander E. Patrick Lanigan, and Christian James Perro, all of Lebanon, her grandparents, Richard Dube of Lebanon, Lorrie Denise Perro of Sanford, Corwin James "Skip" Perro of Port Richie, FL, Barbara Genest of Springvale, and Ronald Genest of Sanford, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.A period of visitation will be held this Friday, April 20, 2007 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Holy Family Church, St. Therese Parish, 66 North Ave., Sanford, ME; where an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 21, 2007.For those that desire to offer a memorial, the family suggest donations be made to the Sapphyre Skye Perro Memorial Fund, c/o Peoples Choice Credit Union, 39 Country Club Rd., Sanford, ME 04073.To leave the family a message of condolence please use the "condolences" tab to the left.
