Sandra F. Allaire

Sandra F. Allaire, 65, of Sanford, died on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.Sandra was born on June 25, 1950 to Stanley and Lucille (Binette) Jowett in Sanford where she grew up and attended local schools, graduating from Sanford High School in 1968. In 1969 she married Ronald Allaire and together they shared 46 years of marriage and raised two sons.Sandra was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was especially fond of her two grandchildren and loved that she was able to take care of them each day while their parents worked from the time that they were born until they started school. One of the highlights of each year for Sandra were the annual trips that she and family would take to Disney World in Florida. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and going camping with her family in Rangeley. She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Surviving are her husband, Ronald Allaire of Sanford; two sons, Lee Allaire of Sanford and Lance Allaire and his wife Kristin of North Waterboro; two grandchildren, Jacob and Stella Allaire, both of Waterboro and a brother, Stanley "Skip" Jowett and his wife Priscilla of Sanford.Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 AM with a memorial service following at 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 28th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale.
